The provincial maximum on rent-controlled apartments last year was 2.5 per cent, but Sharpe’s building has no limit because Ontario Premier Doug Ford removed controls on any rental units built or occupied after November, 2018.

Yet another thing that our Conservative Premier here in Ontario has done, yet the public is still going to blame the federal government.

What's that cable he's standing on? Is that as far as the ankle monitor lets him go?

4G had a lot of the same issues as 3G, but 5G was a complete redesign (including security). It was supposed to have been way harder to break than previous generations.

Why has no one warned us?!!

Wow I sure am glad this isn't still relevant 100 years later...

Well, if they won't send him home, we should all just start calling the team "the Dutch Rapists".

Maybe if enough people do it, they might find a conscience?

OR...and hear me out, two things might be bad at the same time.

Isn't that what I said?

I know what you're saying, and I agree that X is extremely problematic.

I think the difference is that X is owned by private individuals, whereas they're saying here that TikTok is under the control of the Chinese state. I wonder if there are different rules at play for estate actors?

Yeah, I like that! 👍 Corporations don't make decisions... Those people do

Not really something that is legal that should be illegal, but I would love to see this nonsense that corporate executives can't be held criminally responsible (the corporation is) for their illegal acts. I think it would correct an awful lot of shitty things corporations do really quickly (assuming enforcement).

That's really cool.
