Everyone should be allowed to be given a Platform including Fascists. If you Defederate them they get looked in there Bubble and you reaffirm their believes, meaning that there aren't any people anymore to challenge their Believes. Which is just going to make them more extreme.

People should still have the right to see that content. If you don't like it then block it but defederating deprives other who want to see it.
Wine = Wine is not an Emulator
It's a compatibility layer.
Your files are still fully visible to the Malware so if it is trying for example to encrypt all of them it can. If it targets smth like System32 then you would be safe since that would only affect wine and apps running under it. So depends on the Type of Malware.
Edit: Most Malware Target the entire System so exes are a danger for Linux when using WINE

You aren't wrong, as long you stay in the Influence Area of the Cities you would at most find people who will Ignore you. There are a few outliers and I wouldnt recommend advertising it if you go to the countryside. But most people here are actually really Nice just a bit Conservative and Old fashioned.
I personally find Gnome works best on Laptops using the Touch pad with its Gesture controlls. But yeah there are things like the missing application tray that can be annoying which can only be added with extensions. Which is annoying again. So pure Gnome is the bare minimum and can work, but with extensions it can bekomm extremely good. In my opinion.
Even then I believe that their voice should be heard. But If they begin a call for Violence or repeated offenses against the Instances rules I would defederat them.
As it looks their on their way to do that tho.
I would rather wait until they actually do smth violating the rules, then act prematurely.
