Not a vegan, but I don't think I've ever heard a vegan say that. We've all watched nature shows. Rationale is usually a little bit deeper. Overconsumption, abuse of animals in meat/dairy industries, responsibility of humans to aim for a higher level of morality than animals, etc. Sure some go overboard, but I wouldn't underestimate the complexity of the thinking behind it.

Compensation of certain individuals (e.g., officers, key employees, highest paid) is required to be reported on the public disclosure nonprofit tax return (Form 990). This site makes them easy to find, but the most recent filings can take a while to appear. You can visit or contact in writing any nonprofit directly and they are required to provide their public Form 990 to you.

Life is a bit busy right now with work and family, so I rarely find it convenient to devote more than a single sense to media. If my eyes are busy (driving, running, flossing...), I will listen to documentaries and science shows without video. If my ears are busy (working), I will put videos on my second monitor and mute them.

His wikipedia article is a pretty good read. Had no idea he was so religious.
