The judge still has tools other than incarceration. Since the crime was fraud, how about a hefty fine? How about community service? In what world would any other defendant have received a sentence of literally nothing at all?

I can’t help, but wonder, if Trump had just said, “yeah I paid a porn star to sleep with me. What of it? Who cares?” Then none of this would’ve happened as far as I can determine.
The issue wasn't that he lied about it, as I understand it, the issue was that he claimed the money he paid to Stormy Daniels as a tax deductible campaign expense.
Michael Cohen, well-off white guy and lawyer who arranged this actual crime for Trump already went to prison for it years ago, so that's clearly not true.
Why did it take 8 years to convict Trump of the same crime? Michael Cohen finished his sentence and was released in 2021.
They're also some of the smartest people on the planet. America is suffering the same problem we all are - right wing shitbags and hostile nations weaponising our stupid people through social media.
They are expats to the people in the country they left, and immigrants in the country they went to. I don't know why people think the word expat is some kind of racism-lite.
Also, the British literally voted to have a worse economy. We don’t have a monopoly on headassery.

It probably won't see court. Like the ABC lawsuit, the point is to intimidate with the threat of government retaliation later if they don't roll over.
I've got a waterpik and I just can't get on with it at all. How on earth are you supposed to use it? You can't use it sideways because there's no pressure, so it has to be sort of vertical, which feels really weird to aim and you can't see what you're doing. The last time I tried, it was like I hosed down the bathroom, with water everywhere. It also managed to be so powerful that it cut my gums.
