It seems thet for many here, Iran, Russia, and China are the good guys in anything and everything, and especially in their opposition to the US. So.... I'm not quite sure why this doesn't make the orange dude adored by this crowd.

I think it is quite obvious: to destroy the Hamas infrastructure and to kill as many Hamas militants as possible, while minimising Israeli casualties.
