Yes, and Apple decided to do the same thing knowing the risks.

"Intel did it!" is not a panacea for apple; it makes things worse for them.

Yes, I realize that.

You do realize that this kind of attack happened after spectre and meltdown? Apple knew of the risks, but decided to ignore them.

I'll support whoever gives me the best deal!

It's just business~

"Hey guys, maybe we shouldn't use a name that's so easily misspelled by normal people." - words that are never said among free software circles

Why does it have to be about privacy? Why can't it be about not centralizing power into a handful of for-profit entities?

Looks like pixelfed is just for pictures.

Seems like it's the instagram to mastadon's twitter.

This is neat, but for some reason it doesn't keep me signed in if I try to access a link from my home instance.

I haven't given them any of my info.

Do you think walgreens and CVS don't sell your data? Lol.

I don’t think local drug stores can afford to be cheaper than a big corporate chain.

Sure they can! It's not like their owners are surviving off of beans and rice, lol.

Are they?

I think using goodrx.com has given me the best results to save money on drugs.

Local drug stores should totally be displaying "we're cheaper than CVS!" if they want people to show up.

That is, if they're actually cheaper...

Why do people buy anything besides drugs at a CVS?

If I want to share a post with someone from another instance, it looks like I have 2 options:

  1. I can share how my instance links to the post, which is the little link symbol.

  2. Or I can click the federated symbol and that apparently shares a link from the poster's instance.

In both cases, whoever I share the link with is unable to view that post from their account if they're on another instance. Is there a way to alleviate this?

So glad the feature exists.

Only about 6 hours of campaign and it's a shell of what was demoed.

I'm not referring to the people who gamble once in a blue moon. I'm talking about those who gamble habitually.

How come they're all such garbage people, with legitimately no exceptions? Take a look at any high-stakes poker table and everyone except maybe the dealer is a de-facto scumbag.

I've been able to set up sending and listening to http requests locally using 127.0.0.1:8000. I want to try doing it using the internet now.

I have a VPN with port forwarding enabled, but sending requests to that IP address and port does not yield a response like it did when doing it locally.

Can anyone clarify which address I should be listening on in order to receive http requests from the internet? I tried 0.0.0.0 and a few inet addresses from ip add, but none of them work.

On Reddit, some subreddits allowed users to add a title next to their name called 'flair.'

Is there anything like this on Lemmy?

Edit: After seeing the bandwagon, dogpiling reaction from the community for simply trying to donate, I wont bother donating to this project even if they support cryptocurrencies.

Good job, assholes.
