The Liberals only went along with a very limited pharmacare program because they NDP could topple them. They vilified the NDP more than the Conservatives in the election campaign, and now that the NDP was decimated because progressive voters wanted to make sure Poilievre didn't get elected, the Liberals don't need to pretend they care about pharmacare any more.
