Audio over RSS?
Isn't that just podcasting?
If you use that, suddenly you get every podcast app working for you for free.

How to disable Proton?
I don't want to (even accidentally) be counted as a Windows user, neither do I want to support "just build a Windows version, Linux users can run that too". That's how developers treated OS/2, and look where that got them.

That would essentially be a closed source fork of the kernel.
The GPL requires the end user be allowed and not prevented from making whatever change they wish to the kernel.
The people who want a closed source kernel can use the NT kernel.

I'm aware you meant music. But from a technical perspective, what's the difference between a podcast audio file delivered via RSS and a music audio file delivered via RSS?
I'm saying that the apps and standards are already there, if you use them, you get all that for free, even if they were not intended for music.
