I would not go with oil capsules if you want to increase ALA intake. You never know if the oil is still fresh, or if it was produced with an oxidised batch already.

If you eat oatmeal, grind up a tablespoon of flax seed and add it. Always grind fresh, or keep a small batch in your fridge for a week. The oils oxidize pretty quickly once the seed is broken. This will give a good baseline of ALA and flax is generally good for your digestion.

Other than that, I would get some DHA+EPA in a 2:1 ratio (or even more EPA) and supplement that as recommended.

Schreib einfach mal dem Vorstand oder der Geschäftsführung, die kümmern sich um so was.

I lost track a little, but do you have experience if Post market OS is already usable as a daily driver or if there are major drawbacks still?

Also: Is Sailfish OS still alive or has this already enshitified itself into oblivion?

Not sure and not queer here.

But my guess is, that the woman in the cis pic has very trimmed, slim eyebrows - while the others have more natural looking brows. Maybe because the queer folk don't need to play the "stereotypical female game". They are defining their own sense of femininity, so no need for conforming with patriarchal stereotypes?

Again, just my guess. If I'm wrong: please explain. I'm always willing to learn & evolve.

This pushes me more and more into imposter syndrome. People remember that I delivered something awesome to them one time, so they guess that I can do this kind of stuff day in day out. Little do they know that it was just an accidental product of my hyperfocus at the time.

So I'm just sitting here, wondering if I can actually do literally anything today, while other people wonder why I'm not just "doing the thing". Whelp! 🥲

It's an incredible piece of art! ❤️

Can we just do GNU Taler already?

Apparently, you might at least decrease the risks with lifestyle choices. Especially correct diet, exercise, social factors and sleep.

E.g: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2024/07/alzheimers-study-finds-diet-lifestyle-changes-yield-improvements/

The suggested changes would also help to reduce the risk for heart attacs, strokes, diabetes and some more.

Proteins are made of amino-acids. You can make a protein out of a couple of aminos or a LOT of them.

The sizes, composition and shapes of the proteins then governs their individual function, as there are countless different proteins.

Think of it as Lego. You can build a large spaceship or a small car. Still all Lego, but you can do different things with them.

Actually, a good article.

"Alle die nicht meiner Meinung sind werden diffamiert."

Merkst du eigentlich noch wie laut es in deiner Echokammer ist?

It was the bear minimum.

Another plus is: They are pretty easy to install as they have the clamp on the inner side of the handle and not on outer side (as the GP1 have). So interference with the break leaverclapmp is not that problematic.

I was on a short trip on the weekend and wanted to have my luggage on the bike instead of carrying it on my back. (Unfortunately, I don't have a front bag yet.)

Some detailed shots of the attachment:

Wooden rod attached to underside of Brompton Backpack and backpack shoulder straps layed over

During my trip I realized that my legs are hitting the rod a little. I repositioned it a little further back during the tour.

Backpack attached to Brompton rear rack

To increase the stability, you can wrap the rubber straps around the rack (behind the wheel) which will increase the tension of the straps.

The idea was taken from Gianni who has a lot of great tips around Bromptons touring: https://piped.video/watch?v=vfQe4f0jbZs

Hills! But I love hills! and sky, and space, & freedom, wild freedom

Original description from Video:

In May, I took my Brompton and my little tent and cycled through the Peak District, to go and see my Dad. There were a lot of hills - and quite a lot of inquisitive cows - along the way. I camped wild, close to Axe Edge Moor, high up at the watershed of two great river systems. And it was fantastic.

Hills aren't easy, but I love them. Especially these hills, close to where I grew up. I don't know what it is - something to do with being up high, the sky, and the space, and solitude, and a feeling of wild freedom.

And I hope you enjoy meeting my Dad! We are both being treated for cancer, and we both love being out on the bike.

Hope you like the film!

Hi everyone!

If anyone of you is interested in Bromptons, we are starting a small space for you and your stories over at !brompton@discuss.tchncs.de

Hope to see some of you there! Keep on riding.

The T Line is already such a great bike - but "Brompton Family Time" always need that special extra.

ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION FROM VIDEO:

Please watch this video if you are interested in the custom parts that I have installed onto my Brompton T Line. At the end of the video I also include the final weight. Thank you for following along with this build. This is my dream bike that I have wanted for over ten years. I still love my superlight Brompton just as much as well as my all steel Brompton. They all have a purpose for me and I enjoy riding them all!
