If I understand correctly, they do lenses locally, yes. But frames are from a monopoly.

Isn't the eyewear industry a huge international monopoly owned by EssilorLuxottica? Like, wherever you buy glasses, they probably all come from that conglomerate anyway.
In French a computer is male.
Ok then. What's the gender of Nutella?
I had never owned a brand new expensive vehicle
You mean a pavement princess?
I have a bike that gets scratched up every time I lock it to a bike rack and meanwhile people buying expensive work trucks are melting down if there is a scratch on their WORK truck.
Writing in the dust is not vandalism. FFS!
Bah, even if you are not living in the U.S., you will have to deal with the BS of the newly self declared world king. He's threatening to invade half the planet anyway.
Otherwise, do you have suggestions of where your orange majesty might ignore?
I don't consider it a joke. It's obvious that reporters/journalists/the press are making things worse and motivating him by asking stupid questions over and over, like "are you willing to use military force against our allies?"
He answers something scandalous, the "news" repeats his stupid and scandalous answers, amplifies them, then escalate by asking even more potentially scandalous questions.

I normally use bluetooth headphones so I don't use the adapters enough to have any that broke yet. I keep a pair of wired headphones as a backup, and sometimes I want to connect my phone to old speakers, so the adapter is useful in those cases.
I guess if you're using that adapter every day it might indeed break faster.
However where I live you can find them at the dollar store for something like $4.

Or when you try to use contactless only to be asked the amount of tip to give to the cashier, before being able to pay.
