I smoothly run openSUSE Tumbleweed on my Intel framework 13. I can recommend checking it out.

I use borgbackup together with borgmatic and vorta. Does what you want and works very well.

You could try syncthing-fork from fdroid ... it can be given root rights to access the data folder

I like this watch face. Does anybody know where I can find it?
