wait so if these babies are functioning normally as this would imply then how tf do people know the organs are flipped? is this something you can see on the ultrasound in the womb or did they get their babies scanned for some reason? is this a stupid question?? i dont have any kids so im genuinely lost here

edit: i read the article again and “ But, in 2023, the rate jumped to nearly 24 cases per 10,000 ultrasound screenings.” so it was indeed from an ultrasound. my b. leaving this here in case others are confused and stupid like me.

doesn’t shock me. it feels like everything on twitter is broke these days, way easier to just not deal with it.

these features are why i avoid those other sites so seeing it leak into sites i actually use is really irritating. i’m still annoyed with youtube shorts all over my damn subscription feed

when i’m that worried about the tips getting to the right hands, i tip in cash. its a small inconvenience to carry some cash but then i know its going into the employee’s hand. might just be a placebo, but what else can i do lol

my friend was having enormous clots come out during her horrifically long periods, losing the amount of blood that was actually making her anemic and causing her problems, and they still didn't want to do anything because she was only in her 30s. thankfully she finally found a doctor who was like 'wow yeah you need that thing taken out of there its killing you' and she got it removed, but the fact she had to go through all that stress and pain to find anyone who would help her is absurd.
