The most fucked up part is that I disagree, but not because I think Elon is any better than you do.
Maybe I don't know enough of this, but would it be possible to install Kodi and use that and it's plugins for satellite? Plex also had this, and maybe Jellyfin is a good option?
In that way, you can show your satellite channels but in their interface.

If you study countries that became fascist or dictatorships, power was never gained on a single day.
Like pre-WWII Germany, Hitler won an election yes, but he didn't become a dictator on day one. Same with Putin.
It's all the actions following, and the US can still combat it. But the odds are obviously against it now that Trump 'owns' every CEO of every single social media.
It's the same as silencing your political opponents, just with extra steps.
