Gotta be customer obsessed

Pretty much agree with everything that you've said. The goal is to motivate the base and to galvanize a new wave of voters. You can't achieve that if you don't provide anything substantive.

Only it didn't. Have you worked on your reading skills?

Don't fret. I don't doubt this man at all. There are other "progressives" I'm more concerned about.

He can't help it - he's Italian!

Three Trump candidates in NYC.

We already discussed this in another thread. The 2020 race was decided by Obama/DNC forcing multiple candidates to drop out. After Super Tuesday the chances were slim for Bernie to have any chance at winning and there was no point in voters coming out for the remaining primaries.

Stop spreading bullshit.

What makes you think I don’t want to. Anyone who is sucking down air should be wanting to intervene.

There are plenty of people who wouldn't wish to run a campaign and risk their own lives or the lives of their families to MAGA nutcases.

Not everyone has the capability and support to actually do it. I certainly don’t. Stewart does.

And therein lies my issue with celebrities running for office - money and power.

If he knew two years ago what he knows today, I have no doubt that he would have stepped up.

If he is truly the talented political thinker that you think he is, he already saw this coming. There were multiple progressive YouTube shows/podcasts that made this exact warning in 2020 because trump was just the symptom and we never addressed the underlying problems. Jon knew this as well, but chose not to step up.

Dems too busy watching the stock ticker

Ok, so you be the change you want to see.

You don't want to? Well, that's how Jon probably feels.

Completely disingenuous article claiming at first that Mamdani is unpopular outside of NYC followed by stats that show that many Americans don't even have an opinion on him.

Guess what?! Not many people in Missouri or California are going to give a damn about a local election in another state!

For starters, Mamdani is clearly not popular outside of New York City.

A Siena College poll this week showed statewide New York voters disliked him 37%-28% – and that’s in a left-leaning state.

A recent Yahoo News-YouGov poll, meanwhile, showed a relatively similar verdict among Americans nationwide: 31%-22% negative.

While those aren’t good numbers, they don’t exactly suggest he’s a pariah who could be used effectively as a bogeyman on the national stage – at least yet. In the national survey, 46% didn’t even have an opinion of the Democratic mayoral nominee, underscoring the room that exists for him to define himself — or be defined by others. (Even in New York, 34% of voters didn’t have an opinion about him.)
