I deleted my comment when I realized you weren't American.
As a side note the "Don't teach kids sexuality" is always about denying that gay people exist. There is zero nuance to that when you see the policies as they are written for the US states that adopt this.
Im bi. My first crush was Richard Chamberlain. I can explain why as a boy I needed to watch Shogun on TV but it was a bit odd that I also really needed to watch The Thornbirds which is about an Anglican Priest who ends up in an affair with a woman in his church. I was 8.
No one is becoming gay because it was suggested to them. I get how you might be foolhardy enough as a straight person to think this is the case, but I can tell you every single gay person that hears you say this knows how dumb it is. Your exact statement is why I said it is always about denying gay people exist.
Your notion here is intensely homophobic and I really hope you recognize that, change your views and grow as a result.
