I'm so sorry you went through such a terrible schooling environment. I work with neurodivergent kids and its so sad to see and hear about some of the 'methods' people think are appropriate. It's truely heartbreaking knowing it's not just you but an entire school of people who were systemically abused and further disenfranchised.

I hope you are able to find a way to heal and move forward in your life, i know how sticky trauma can be.
