Probably worth pointing out that neither Israel nor the US seem interested in occupying Iranian territory.
The US didn't occupy Iraq territory after 2003 and they still murdered hundreds of thousands in cold blood and destroyed an entire country, leaving it without infrastructure or future prospects, to be ravaged by radicalism and poverty.
They want to do this to Iran too. Please stop jumping to defend the western genocidal empire

Let's not pretend things were going well under Saddam Hussein either.
Literal FOX News levels of the extrajudicially-murdered individual wasn't a saint either. Saddam sucked, but what the US brought was a million times worse.
I really don't think that's the case.
The USA and the UK were massive supporters of Saddam and his reign until we decided he was no longer useful. Literally giving him billions and billions of weapons. We allowed him to consolidate power and act as a destabilizing force in the region until we decided he was bad, but until then he was a very close ally. https://archive.globalpolicy.org/iraq-conflict-the-historical-background-/us-and-british-support-for-huss-regime.html
That doesn't surprise me, the US in particular is very good at supporting their future enemies.
That's just because you're an ignorant then
Getting called ignorant by a Saddam apologist is... Something.
"""Saddam apologist""" here meaning, anyone who opposed the Iraq War.
Fucking hawks, I stg. Every time.
phew! thank fuck for that!
so i guess the unprovoked bombing of another sovereign nation is not all that bad, then? what's the blood of a few innocent people after all, eh? it's not like there are going to be boots on the ground, am i right?
Guess it'll be fine to nuke every US city, as long as there's no plan to occupy the rubble afterwards
I really hope you someday get to experience the receiving end of the politics you support.
It really isn't but thanks for trying to contribute to the conversation I guess
Press x doubt.
They did it with Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam. They will definitely do it again if they see a chance to remove the Iranian regime and replace it with their own.
Do you think removing the Ayatollahs would make things better or worse for the Iranian people?
People thought removing the saddam regime would make things better. Turns out it didn't and it cost the lives of 1 million. This isn't a game you just play.
Of course, take a look at Libya too.
The Iranians would do better without the IR. You won't bomb them into revolting however.
Roll out white saviours! The ends don’t justify the means, and all this has happened before, with disastrous results
Worse, unquestionably.
