But the New York mayoral candidate said: “That’s not the language that I use.”

"New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on Sunday again declined to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada” but emphasized he would be a mayor “that protects Jewish New Yorkers” if elected in November."

"“I’ve heard from many Jewish New Yorkers who have shared their concerns with me, especially in light of the horrific attacks that we saw in Washington, D.C. and in Boulder, Colorado, about this moment of antisemitism in our country and in our city,” Mamdani told Welker. “And I’ve heard those fears, and I’ve had those conversations.”"

Seems pretty clear to me that the majority of NYC voters do not give a fuck about Israel or the ginned-up, media-driven antisemitism fears.

They care about the basics: housing, food, and value for their labor.

You'd think there would be at least one non-decrepit strategist in NY DNC who can tell they are in deep shit when even Staten Islanders are coming out in droves to vote for the intifada candidate but I guess not.

It's already shown to be an ineffective way to slander him, the more they harp on this the more it'll backfire imo

Agreed. It does seem like the censorship, propaganda, and general disingenuousness around the issue has worked against conservatives and the so-called "moderates". (Who are really just conservatives in blue jerseys.)
