Are you calling it "creepy pasta" to express your disapproval of the concept or because you think it's an actual creepy pasta?

[–] Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone 9 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It’s creepypasta for people who think Pascal’s wager becomes much more convincing if you give it sci fi window dressing, lol.

"Deep state conspiracies" also fits.

Related: Some people read the The Last Question and think it is in support of monotheism and intelligent design

Por que los dos?

I don't view it any different than the kids who killed a classmate to impress Slenderman.

Someone made up an urban legend, and now people believe it.

Like, you do know that the origin is an Internet forum like 15 years ago right?

Youve got me curious now, what do you think it is?

No los dos.

I don't know, I see a difference between a cReEpY thing posted in some random forum for fun and a thought experiment that provoked years of discussion. But I don't know enough about the subject to meaningfully comment on it, however you may categorise it.

It's literally the same thing...

But I don’t know enough about the subject to meaningfully comment on it

Yet you're literally commenting on it...

Sure. 50 Shades of Grey and The Lord of the Rings are both books, literally the same thing.

I am commenting on the way you talk about it. Or rather inquiring about it.
