Lol, this is what I thought of just after replying.
At the time tho maybe like a hungry family sitting in front of potato filled cannon with their mouths open.
It's been demonstrated that cooking a chicken is possible by slapping it. Now, how much gunpowder is needed to cook a chicken by firing it out of a cannon?
