Stupid? It's a brilliant bit of bureaucracy. It sounds like it should be illegal, but provided it isn't it's a great bit of fake democracy from MBS.

Nothing to do with MBS. These rules have been in place for years. And an incumbent president has never lost a re-election.

Sure is weird fans weren't upset when British Max Moseley and French John Todt were presidents and the same thing happened. But Emirati Mohammed Ben Sulayem does.

No one was claiming they were a fake democracy like MBS gets
