Straight up most republicans/conservatives, especially the older set, as a rule do not change their minds or opinions about things nor do they take new or corrected information into account. Whatever the first knowledge they acquire on any subject is the truth and always will be the truth.

8+ years of pointing out their constant lies & hypocrisy & how Trump part 2 is taking every action they can to make America be more like Russia.

I've shifted to just trying to convince them to note vote at all. Reminding them that they don't need to vote, just because they don't want to vote D.
