As a German, yeah, but no. The EU doesn't need the hassle of having a land border with the US. Then again, if Schengen survives till Canada joins, visiting would become much easier.

i think it's too far off yet. we should do east and south first.
After marrying Germany to Russian gas and torpedoing the transition to clean energy, "Siggi der Grätenlose, Sorge und Elend des Harzes" (Siggi the boneless, the worry and misery of the Harz mountains), strikes again.
I'm also against having a border with the US. Let's instead continue making eyes at honorary member Australia.
