Look for ghee, or clarified butter. It's just butter with most of the milk solids separated/filtered out. You can just put it in any bottle and squeeze it wherever you want.

Yup. Ghee can pump or squeeze, no problem

How would you keep the butter liquid though?

well, its almost liquid in room temperature, or you have to microwave it 20 seconds before use.

I mean, they make butter warmers with a pump for popcorn.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I guess but having to microwave before use would be a bit inconvenient.

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

less inconvenient than getting out a knife and butter and washing off the knife

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I guess. But if you are squirting molten butter onto stuff that does not achieve the same result as spreading some butter with a knife.

eh, for my intents it doesn't really matter. I just need it on the toast before toasting so the toast isn't disgusting.

[–] Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Gotcha. That would work then.

I don't have a brand to recommend but do a search for "butter sprayer" and you might be set

I can't read this language, but I guess it says 78% oil from raps flower (I don't know the English term) so, no not this, this is just oil I guess (please correct me) What I mean isn't for cooking, just butter you can spray on your toast.

[–] Pronell@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

The English term has fallen out of favor - rapeseed oil. It's very closely related to canola oil.

I believe it is now called Sexual assault seed oil.

I didn't include translate in the link, because I thought everyone knew about translate...

I don't know of any products that's half liquid and butter for bread/toast. If any country should have this, it should be Norway. We love bread and we love spreads on tubes. 👍

[–] urheber@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 3 weeks ago

yes, also regarding translate, my phone is way too old for such a thing. opening a website, let alone clicking or scrolling is heavy dangerous (may crash at any point).

This is literally not butter, but I just wanted to link it.
