Trump and Musk are tirelessly working to make America weak politically and militarily

it’s a race to the bottom (or at least a race to get under Russia and China)

Classic maneuver, divide and conquer. Even animals know you gotta separate your prey from the rest of the pack before you can take them down with the least amount of effort.

Man if they do make America weak militarily I'll give them a blowjob, but no. They're making America weak politically and less competent militarily with little to no change to the war machine itself.

Until the oligarchs start embezzling the defense budget.

The US is an absolute joke. Their current administration is a circlejerk of brainrot. It's impossible to put into words how it looks from the outside. Trying to use words to describe it is like taste-testing the different flavor profiles of a spoonful of shit.

Take your military bases too.

Ugh, how much are EU golden passports again…

[–] MBech 8 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Depends, you wanna move to Hungary? If so €250,000. Wanna move to something less authoritarian? €500,000+

[–] bradorsomething@ttrpg.network 1 points 9 hours ago

Wait, Malta is €500,000? Or somewhere else.

A fascist-run country does not care about allies or friends. In doing so, it becomes vulnerable and disadvantaged.

Doing other countries a favor.

So if a American needs access to a embassy while traveling what are they to do?

I always thought embassys are equally important for Americans traveling abroad and potentially people looking to immigrate.

[–] Endymion_Mallorn@kbin.melroy.org 22 points 17 hours ago

That's the whole idea. They want to make travel from or to the USA difficult and unsafe. If you can't immigrate via an embassy, most people are going to avoid immigration, and those that do can probably be considered "illegal" in some way. If Americans leave the USA, they're not going to have a government to support them if they have a local issue.

I was just considering how I could get to the US consulate in my province to protest yesterday. It's about four hours away and I haven't seen anything about anyone pushing those buttons.
