!nostupidquestions is a community dedicated to being helpful and answering each others' questions on various topics.

The rules for posting and commenting, besides the rules defined here for lemmy.world, are as follows:

Rules (interactive)

Rule 1- All posts must be legitimate questions. All post titles must include a question.

All posts must be legitimate questions, and all post titles must include a question. Questions that are joke or trolling questions, memes, song lyrics as title, etc. are not allowed here. See Rule 6 for all exceptions.

Rule 2- Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material.

Your question subject cannot be illegal or NSFW material. You will be warned first, banned second.

Rule 3- Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here.

Do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.

Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.

That's it.

Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

Questions which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.

Rule 6- Regarding META posts and joke questions.

Provided it is about the community itself, you may post non-question posts using the [META] tag on your post title.

On fridays, you are allowed to post meme and troll questions, on the condition that it's in text format only, and conforms with our other rules. These posts MUST include the [NSQ Friday] tag in their title.

If you post a serious question on friday and are looking only for legitimate answers, then please include the [Serious] tag on your post. Irrelevant replies will then be removed by moderators.

Rule 7- You can't intentionally annoy, mock, or harass other members.

If you intentionally annoy, mock, harass, or discriminate against any individual member, you will be removed.

Likewise, if you are a member, sympathiser or a resemblant of a movement that is known to largely hate, mock, discriminate against, and/or want to take lives of a group of people, and you were provably vocal about your hate, then you will be banned on sight.

Rule 8- All comments should try to stay relevant to their parent content.

Rule 9- Reposts from other platforms are not allowed.

Let everyone have their own content.

Rule 10- Majority of bots aren't allowed to participate here. This includes using AI responses and summaries.

No officer, it's "hi, how are you?"

To which the answer is: โ€œAs high as a kite.. No, wait. Higher. A GPS satellite? No. Even higher. Voyager 1 should be about right.โ€

A shrubbery!

[โ€“] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 36 points 1 week ago (3 children)

The outside is the knee. The inside in the eenk.

And the bit on your arm opposite of the elbow is the woble.

[โ€“] naught101@lemmy.world 18 points 1 week ago (2 children)

The loose bit of skin on the outside of the elbow is called the weenus

[โ€“] Blackmist@feddit.uk 3 points 1 week ago

Hey, Simpson. Your weenus is showing!

I did not know that. Thank you

[โ€“] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 19 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Look at me. No, look at me. I need you to know that it's a joke. I spelled the words backwards.

[โ€“] unaccomplishedbottom@lemm.ee 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

In my defense when I left that comment I was out, didn't sleep last night and am high as frick. I'm tired lol

[โ€“] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Lol, no worries. I just didn't want to be that guy who put incorrect data in someone's head forever.

[โ€“] M137@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Why, the kneepit of course!

[โ€“] Volcanna@sh.itjust.works 13 points 1 week ago (3 children)

We don't call it the elbowpit, so this must be the legpit.

[โ€“] AmidFuror@fedia.io 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

No. Leg pit is the taint. The elbow has two sides.

[โ€“] rc__buggy@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Hey! This is a family friendly establishment!

Please use the polite term: grundle

[โ€“] Sludgeyy@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Armpit is where your arm attaches to your torso.

Behind your elbow is a different pit

I actually do call it the elbowpit

[โ€“] Bishma@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 week ago

Indeed. Careless use of the word we, there.

[โ€“] Etterra@discuss.online 19 points 1 week ago

You mean the knee?

Don't feel too bad. One time I had a brain fart and couldn't remember the word "microwave" and called it the "nukeamajig." I still do, but on purpose now.

[โ€“] GeekyOnion@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I would say "inside of the knee," if I'm reading the context right.

[โ€“] neatchee@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Wouldn't the legpit be the pocket created at your hip when your leg is folded against your body?

[โ€“] Acamon@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

Do you mean the popliteal?

[โ€“] PP_BOY_@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

bottom hinge

Tell us you have ADHD without telling us.

[โ€“] bstix 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's called "popliteal" in English, sometimes but uncommonly shortened to "poplit".

[โ€“] cyberslask@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

There is also "hock", but that is mostly used in relation to horses.

[โ€“] h3mlocke@lemm.ee 4 points 1 week ago

This is what my uncle would call a "real knee-slapper"

what, your grunch?

Those orange and brown stripes remind me this Minecraft cat. Such a beautiful color.
