Do you know what taxi works when it rains?

The bicycle taxi.

Somehow, one of the world's overvalued companies can't figure out what every pedicab operator already knows.

Meanwhile in Europe where MOIA is working with VW on an autonomous mini-van taxi, they first make the product work before releasing it:

Since the beginning of the year, MOIA has been testing the ID. Buzz AD in winter conditions in Oslo, Norway. Along with tests in Austin, Texas, USA, Munich, and Hamburg, these efforts expand the operational capabilities of our autonomous technology to perform in extreme climates. Are all Teslas allergic to water???

They use a set of cameras for self-driving and cameras and rain don't go well together.

Meanwhile, a car with a lidar/radar combo could probably work in a lot more weather conditions.
