I honestly don’t like the channel, primarily because I just absolutely hate how they present pretty much every story.
I just want sober, measured, objective reporting, but apparently that’s too much to ask of almost anyone in journalism these days.

It's not perfect, but some more news and their podcast "even more news" are good and they tend to wait to report on breaking stories until more facts come out, or at least state upfront that there is still a lot that they don't know yet.
Lately, it's kind of impossible to report on some of this shit without getting a little emotional. But they're closer to tears than frothing angrily.
I love some more news with news dude Cody Johnston!! Lol but seriously their brand of dry sarcastic humor helps the depressing news go down easier.
Yeah, that’s one of the few general news channels I actually pay attention to sometimes. Their coverage tends to leave off the vast majority of the bombast, which I appreciate a lot

I already hate that shit from conservative donkeys. Why would I want to see a liberal version of this?
My take of it is that this is for the same demographic of people that gobble up the shit the conservative outlets produce, trying to catch the people who follow that stuff just for the entertainment parts. I'm for it if it gets some diversity in what those people listen to, but it's not my thing, for sure.

I think it does. There are some versions of their reporting I do like, and they actually pull in tons of great and relevant info, it isn’t just blowhard opinions.
MeidasTouch does NOT have good politics. Its a great place to go if you want court/ supreme court coverage (because they are almost all lawyers), but their political inclinations are shit.

It doesn’t, because unlike Democrats who play by the rules and value free speech, even speech they dislike and disagree with, Trump and his republicans will do whatever it takes to suppress dissenting voices.
