If the cost of a recall for a defective car is higher than the cost to settle wrongful death lawsuits, they don't do a recall.
Yeah but I'm not carrying 6 bags of groceries back to my place tho
Yeah, and there's already people who keep consumption to a minimum. And I also hate being a downer but I think some of those are pretty big asks. People won't call out of work, they just won't. Not in a large enough number to make it matter.
But not spending any money? That could seriously take off. Just for a day? Not do something that has no negative consequences? Get everyone together doing something. Doesn't matter much what, just that it's a collective thing.
Maybe leave local restaurants/businesses alone? Idk. It just seems like that's an idea where people have less to do and a lot less to lose to participate so it could take off.
This is a lot more feasible. People can lose a lot striking from work but striking from consumption is much more manageable. Where the way to participate is NOT to do something, whole lot easier too.
U from colorado?
Inb4 China stops reporting this. Just like they did with youth unemployment
It's definitely the second. There's a reason people joke about "Tiananman Square 1989". Everything is censored to hell and back
First interracial kiss on television too
While I can admit drugs aren't "good" per se but I do think most* should be legalized. We should have harm reduction classes that can teach people how to use responsibly. And have clinics where addicts can go to try and get clean and can provide whatever drug they're addicted to in a safe environment. Also tax revenue.
But that would require empathy and an honest look at how other countries handle drugs much better than the U.S.
I feel like this is almost every company ever. Incompetent people near the top being propped up by lesser paid people doing all the work.
It's a great time but you gotta be careful with that shit
