Why would you filter that? If your friend is stinky you should tell them so they can go get unstinky. I won't judge you unless it's a constant problem.
TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Humans emit a low level constant smell that we are nose blind to. Vulcans can't become nose blind. To constantly point that out would be rude.
Yeah, but Spock uses something to dampen his sense of smell so if he's commenting then Jimbo must be pretty ripe.
Vulcans spend their whole life learning to detach their physical state from their mental.
Vulcans, can’t learn to stop smelling something.
I can detach my mind from the tickle compulsion. That doesn't mean I can't feel the fingers trying to tickle me.
Humans don't learn to stop smelling, our brain automatically filters it out. Once you're used to a smell you are unable to perceive it. Vulcan minds don't do that, they have to actively disengage from the sensation.
My favorite bit is everyone running around like "vulcans are so logical and intelligent" and vulcans saying "we are so logical and intelligent" and then they're just sort of weird racists
Me whenever I go to any city ever.
So if Spock was half human did he smell bad? Was he an outcast for being the stinky kid?
According to Strange New Worlds, yes.
light a match Rom, we can smell you out here
Villages around me often smell like manure, i.e. literal shit.
I prefer that smell to humans. Yes, even pig manure.
Which countries? Japan's cities, except for the southern part of Osaka and the middle part of Osaka, and the subways in Osaka, were very clean, the most notable smell being fried food and the occasional old person. Chinese cities are generally quite clean, except for the occasional whiff of durian. Hanoi and HCMC don't smell like anything because of all the pollution.
I always appreciated that Spock became even more matter of fact after he died. As if having your brain downloaded into a new head might have an effect on your personality. Something I wish more SciFi did when they resurrect a character.
Spock is always filtered. It is the Vulcan way. That's as restrained as he could make that comment
I feel that way about my house when I leave for any reasonable amount of time.
