Let me be clear: If this becomes law, I become a criminal.

Wrong. Your government becomes criminal.

That's a perfectly fair perspective, and one that I agree with. Unfortunately, they have all the guns.

Ask French how to act in this situation. They have experience. Here in Ukraine we butt-kicked our president so hard that it landed somewhere in Rostov, Russia.

All is doable.

All governments are criminal ALREADY and have been for ever. The question is how much criminal are they right now.

Of course. But different times have different "norms". Execution for not being sucker enough for your king was totally ok 300-400 years ago, but now it is mostly considered bad. Total censorship and monitoring are bad by modern standards.

This monstrosity + the soon-to-be-a-thing-but-no-less-frightening Digital Euro, we EU 'citizens' are in for some real good times in regards to our privacy, rights and freedom(s)... Maybe it's time to consider replacing this meaningless 'citizen' word with something more appropriate like, say, 'serfs'?

Nope, no /s, here. Just plain sadness :'(

Shouldn't there be a legislation that anti-consumer proposals can not be spammed at the legislature to pass them "by exhaustion"? Looks like an obvious attack vector.

Guys call me when we do a general strike. It is fucking overdue.

Honestly, if it passes, it’s the Danes^CX^ not holding authoritarians accountable.

Ah okay but he is danish. Not dutch. Danish is Denmark, who proposed the chat control again, dutch is the Netherlands, who voted against chat control.

Edit: I'm Dutch so I was wondering because I was also in on this shit and wanted to make sure to reach out to my government, but didn't have to because they already opposed chat control.
