Finally. My dreams of having a shit eating sex cult can be realized.

You're not concerned that might lead to a kink overflow?

it just loops back to vanilla

"You dare to just do missionary? How obscenely vulgar, I love it"

[–] cm0002@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

It’s important to note that the update won’t be inappropriate or x-rated

Lame, it's gonna be another God of War candle scene :(

Its a game about building a satanistic cult.

Sex is part of the course.

Fyi, the phrase is "par for the course"

(As in the expected number of shots for a golf course)

Part of the course also kinda makes sense, sorta like saying "you can expect this to be on the menu" but ive never heard it used in this context

Perhaps I should give this game a second look after they update.

If it will allow me to not care about village, i might probably finally finish the game

I thought they said they were delisting their game because of the Unity debacle?

Yeah, but the sentiment is the same. They only backpedaled because people spoke up. They still think users of their platform can be nickel and dimed like that, and chances are they’ll try again. Most likely to a lesser extent, but people will accept it because “it’s not as bad as what they wanted before.”

[–] sebinspace@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

This, exactly. Even if they didn’t get away with it, they still showed what they’re willing to try to get away with.

Which is precisely why they’re adding sex :-)

[–] siban@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

The studio backpedaled long before Unity did, they were never serious about it.

[–] FooBarrington@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

The studio later recanted that. Hard to see it as anything but an attempt to drive sales through FOMO.

This studio trolls sometimes.
