I unpacked and sent my game containing online fix to a friend of mine on mac . I was wondering how can we play online together. So he set up Whiskey and ran steam on it and added me as (Steam needs to run to be able to play via online fix). He also added the game in question on whiskey. The game runs well and works on lan. But when i send an invitation to join my lobby online steam doesnt seem to detect the game (he gets my invitation tho). So we tried manually adding the game via steam but in vain.

Any tips on how to solve this? Or is it even possible to do such thing?? It worked with my friends running windows.

Ik but i just have one of my friends on mac and i dont want him to be left out of the fun. We are all conscient that gaming on Mac is hell

Everyone playing will need to install hamachi, and join the same network. The person who has the best internet connection should host.

It fakes everyone being on the same LAN network, it's my goto for gaming when not everyone has a legit copy.

Would it work with play it gg??? This seems like an idea to try. I was hoping that it would work with online fix... For info we all have the cracked version of the game running the same version. Just one of us is on mac and having him join our lobby is harder than expected

I definitely works with cracked games, as long the crack lets you access LAN game mode.
