This comment is my favorite.

An Alabama grand jury has recommended that a city's police department be "immediately abolished," finding there is a "rampant culture of corruption," officials said Wednesday while announcing the indictment of five of the agency's officers, including its police chief.

Five Hanceville police officers were arrested and charged amid a probe into the department, Cullman County District Attorney Champ Crocker said. The spouse of one of the officers was also charged, he said.

Cody Alan Kelso, Jason Scott Wilbanks, Jason Shane Marlin, William Andrew Shelnutt, and Eric Michael Kelso are shown in these booking photos released by the Cullman County Sheriff's Office.

Microsoft says it has developed a new generative AI model that can produce "complex gameplay sequences."

The Xbox maker's Research Game Intelligence team debuted the World and Human Action Model (WHAM), which it has nicknamed Muse, earlier today and described it as a "generative AI model of a video game that can generate game visuals, controller actions, or both."

The Observer has identified the operator of “GlomarResponder,” an overtly racist social media account, as ICE Assistant Chief Counsel James Rodden, based on an overwhelming number of biographical details matched through publicly available documents, other social media activity, and courtroom observation.

Since GlomarResponder was first created in 2012, the account has posted hateful, xenophobic, and pro-fascist content. “America is a White nation, founded by Whites. … Our country should favor us,” GlomarResponder wrote last month. “All blacks are foreign to my people, dumb fuck,” the account posted in September of last year. “Freedom of association hasn’t existed in this country since 1964 at the absolute latest,” GlomarResponder wrote four months prior, further clarifying the post was referring to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in a reply to a comment. “I’m not a commie, I’m a fascist,” GlomarResponder posted a couple weeks later. “Fascists solve communist problems. Get your insults right, retard.”

Do they rip the worst farts or am I just telling on myself that pizza rolls give me room-clearing war crimes-level gas bombs?

I work with a "high powered CEO". These parasites treat golfing, going to dinner, flying on private jets as "working".

That's what my dog does.

He tears into the couch in one side of the house to get you annoyed, then runs to eat cat litter, then runs upstairs to take the kid's toys.

Do enough chaos to get something and tire us out.

Not just platforms them, but also outright approves or does little to challenge it/call them out.

Addy user here! Been using it for years now and just last week, I saw an uptick in one of my aliases. Turned it off with a single toggle and no more spam.

The ability to self-host is awesome if I ever get to that stage. But right now, I want to keep giving them money.

I prefer it over anything that looks too slick, because then it feels like a corporation made it

That's how Reddit was in the beginning.

Back then, you used to show someone "the front page of the internet" and it would literally be jailbait and tech news.

The defense of "it's so easy just pick a server" is getting exhausting.

The average person wants something that works.
