Kernel-Level AntiCheat has joined the chat

Its more like defence against misremembering/misidentifying rather than outright lying. If a witness intends to lie, then like the video portion doesn't really matter, because neither could be trusted in that case.

Soon it might actually become the lesser evil, considering the possibility of deepfakes.

Evidence trustworthiness would be like (from least to most trustworthy):

  • Photo/Audio Evidence
  • Video Evidence
  • Eyewitness testimony
  • Eyewitness testimony + the witness was also also recording it at the time

I mean, we know they can be used as evidence against you, but what if I was actually just chilling and watching Youtube videos at home? Can my spying piece of shit phone ironically save me? 🤔

EU countries aren't exactly fond of, say, anti israel protests, because they always conflate anti-zionism with anti-semiticism.

I mean, even democratic countries are using mass surveillance, not just autocratic ones. So I think, just like with mass surveilance, this "Social Media Investigation" would become the next step in the evolution of how technology is used against us, every country is gonna start scanning your social media.

Bruh. Better call saul was so boring. I got bored of Chuck of whatever his name is and the electricity phobia thing. Legal drsma is so borinh.

The Drug Trade is why Breaking Bad was fun and exciting, especially done by an amateur schoolteacher and not some hardened criminal.

Step 1. Announce your infidelity in a leftist forum
Step 2. Get downvoted
Step 3. "Why are ALL Leftists so intolerable?"

I wonder how times have changed. I know someone who immigrated to the US around 2010s, they had no social media, most of their country didn't really have internet yet. They were let in just fine and have since became a US citizen.

So is 2010s have no expectation of having social media, but now its an expectation?

Make a fake one that posts like... idk post random tech stuff that you could be reasonably interested in. Make nothing critical of authority. As a decoy profile.

Then you can rant about big brother on an anonymous Lemmy Account over TOR.

I don't think that matters.

It doesn't matter if you are trying to overthrow, say a US Adversary like Russia or China, its still counts. I guess the logic is: If you are willing to use violence in [Insert Country Here], how do we know you wont try it here?

A lot of the initial supporters of a revolution/coup gets purged so they don't become a threat to the new authority themselves. Like hitler and the S.A. for example.

MAGAt supporters are just useful idiots, if they successfully fully take over, those same supporters now become the new threat that needs to be purged.

Its not gonna be "a person", its gonna be "a gang". Goodluck if you don't have like a militia to protect you.

"Have you ever attempted to overthrow a government by force or violence?"

Non-Citizen MAGAt: sweats profusely

I'd probaby cry and find poison to use as food replacement 🙃

I've had people tell me that this is (their words, not mine): "mental illness"

This is a judgement-free zone, please be nice 🙃
