Mint has treated me just fine since I converted.

I'm not proficient with Linux whatsoever, but Mint has literally been the most newbie user-friendly OS I have tried to date. So Windows can suck it.

For gaming, Steam runs things great. And for other things like GOG, Battle.net, Lutris has server me well. Proton does a good job.

They'll still make the Xbox consoles as long as they are selling. They'll hopefully just ease off the "Exclusives" going forward.

It was a shitty way of trying to move consoles anyway.

Although they are late to the party, Sony is also trying to sell on PC and other storefronts. So my guess is that the console market isn't treating either of them super well atm.

A quick internet search would suggest that no, you can exchange them, but not dismiss them entirely.

The game seems pretty hard-coded in regards to how they want you to play it.

I'm not making excuses. Just expressing how I understand it.

I get how bloodthirsty people can get and how little rationale thought comes with it.

It's not good, no. More accountability at the top would be preferrable, I'd imagine.

You also have to take into account that many customers haven't felt treated very nicely over quite a long time now. There's definitely some pent-up feelings getting released as a result of people finally achieving functional boycotts.

I absolutely agree

It's the internet. People will be dicks to others for no other reason than that they can.

And I really hope you aren't referring to "me" when you say "you". I've always voted with my wallet and for the most part, I try to be reasonable in my critique.

But this industry works like any other. And when a bad decisions made, the groundfloor workers are always the first to feel it. That's just the sad truth.

I think, in Ubisofts case, people just want to see it burn at this point.

[–] Faydaikin@beehaw.org 3 points 2 days ago

As I said, there's bound to be other opinions.

As much as I dislike Ubisoft, it's nitpicky as hell.

The Year only has 365 days. Billions of people have inhabited the planet and screwed over each other for thousands of years in various terrible ways. Add in shitty natural causes like plagues and such, And well...

Good luck finding a date something shitty didn't happen.

I wouldn't put it past them.
