Imagine using Windows 😤😤

$ Flatpak install Firefox

That is fucking crazy. That is basically two orders of magnitudes less than many other social media apps while still having most of the same functions.

Absolutely crazy to me lol

Low to medium graphics settings, 60fps @ 720p or 30fps @ 800p.

Anything in that range or higher and I'm happy

Cracking since before I was 10 lol

Both for me I cancontinuously make a cracking sound with ankle if I twist my foot around in a circular motion. My knees only crack every few minutes though if I bend down and stand up again

Halo's Forerunners

TES' Dwarven ruins

Assassins Creed's First Civilization

All spring to mind

Also Star Wars' Zeffo / Zeffonians

Cool to see.

I am curious though, does Slackware do anything that other Distros can't?

Is there a reason to choose it over say Debian or Fedora aside from it being around for so long and the nostalgia factor

Access to open source, end to end encrypted technology. Particularly for messaging/ communication.

The camera on the Fairphone 3 is only okay. But there is an upgraded camera module you can buy from Fairphone.

I'm not much of a photographer so it doesn't bother me. But if you take a lot of pictures, it's something to keep in mind.

The picture has Centra brand products. Centra is a chain of Irish convenience stores with a bunch of own brand products.

Also OP mentions being Irish on their profile

I'm on NewPipe version 0.25.1 with a Fairphone 3 on /e/OS Android 9. I get my NewPipe updates from F droid.

Just this evening, I noticed that whenever I play a video from certain channels, specifically Mr Beast and MrBeast Gaming, the audio is dubbed over with some other language. I know YouTube is meant to be testing a feature of allowing channels to have dubbing for different languages, but I wasnt sure if this feature has already been rolled out. If it is, its possible that New Pipe is playing these videos with a dubbing but there doesnt seem to be a way to change the language back to standard English. I'm curious if anyone else experiences this or if there is a way to fix it.

As the post says. I have tested this on the Jerboa app on Android and on Firefox on my laptop. Signing in to my account on lemmy.ml works fine. But clicking on my posts to view them all, comes up empty. Like as though I have not posted anything. Also the community i moderate lemmy.ml/c/ireland_on_lemmy , shows up empty despite me posting dozens of times on there and others also posting there. They are all missing. However, signing out and viewing the page anonymously, let's me see all the posts normally. They only dissapear when I sign back in.

Comments work fine however. Even comments on my own posts that dont appear in my posts on my account. Its the same on Jerboa, the posts tab is always empty and /c/ireland_on_lemmy is always empty.

I have no idea what causes this. It has been this way for about a week now. The only thing I could think that makes my account different, is that its older than pretty much everyone else's here as I made this account 2 years ago before Reddit shit the bed. Is it possible the age of my account is causing this unique bug? I dont even know where to start in documenting or reporting this properly tbh but I would really like some kind of fix as I moderate the only active Ireland page on Lemmy. I want my community to be a substitute for /r/Ireland which was quite popular and a great place to hang out before the Reddit situation got bad. But if I can't even see posts on there, it might as well not even exist.

Any advice or help here would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much as title says, I upgraded to Jerboa 0.0.37 today from F-Droid. I'm using a Fairphone 3 with /e/OS with Android 9. I'm not sure if the error message is an issue on Jerboa's side of things or if its's my instance which is lemmy.ml .As is, my posts don't show up in Jerboa or even using lemmy.ml in the browser on my laptop.

I also get an error message popup while scrolling that just says 'Network Error', which seems to undo something I have upvoted further up in my feed.

Not trying to complain or anything btw, I know Jerboa and Lemmy in general is Free Open Source Software. If I had the know how, I would love to contribute, but for now, I just thought I'd discuss any issues I'm having so that they might be addressed at some point.

Hello there, just a quick question. I seem to have had all of my posts removed. Most of which were submissions to /c/Ireland_On_Lemmy , which is a community I made. Pretty much all the posts were links to news articles or something similar. They definitely were not in any way problematic, so I'm wondering is there a technical problem going on to say my posts have vanished. Trying to view my posts in the Jerboa Android app causes the app to crash, but its latest update has been causing crashes every few minutes anyway, so I'm not sure if that is related.

Anyway, has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there anything I can do?

Up until now, System76 only sold whole systems and onlyshipped them within North America. Now they will sell a variety of components to 60 countries. Including their Thelio desktop cases in three different sizes
