The Department of Education is being dismantled.

I still can't get over how they were essentially presented with a simplified version of the trolley problem and chose to not pull the lever.

By their own narrative that "the democrats are complicit in a genocide in Gaza", they were aware that Palestinians were metaphorically tied to both tracks, yet decided to not pull the lever when America itself and every marginalized person living within was also on the track the trolley barreled towards.

All the photographs nominated this year were fantastic but I'm happy to see this one win. It was definitely my favorite.

After months of posts about the "Democrats being complicit in a genocide," I'm not going to pretend that "don't let fascism win" was somehow the standard they were being held to.

We all knew well ahead of time just how much worse Republicans would be.

all because the national Democratic party failed us

Democrats are held to a higher standard than Republicans even by people who claim progressive ideals.

Every Juggalo I've interacted with (sample size of 3) has been the kind of person I'd definitely consider an ally.

Potentially not representative of the greater community, but I've yet to experience anything to the contrary.

Actually indistinguishable from Truth social.

You're only making one person look silly, and it's not them.

I'm late, but I wanted to get my pals takes on this, too. For me, the biggest thing might be being 6v6. A single extra player on each team can go a long way towards making more interesting team compositions.

Both the pals I've been playing with brought up the "team-up" mechanic. We've been having a good time playing around with these duos/trios, and there's definitely a lot of interesting things they can do with it in the future, even if it kinda seems like a balancing headache.

Then, of course, it's also got the value of being a Marvel IP. That's not specifically better or worse than Overwatch, but it's definitely already helped the game attract so many players.

I wouldn't have the confidence to call it "the Overwatch killer" or anything, but it'll certainly be a real competitor as Overwatch bleeds itself out.

Marvel Rivals has been the most fun my pals and I have had with a hero-shooter since the launch of Overwatch. It's refreshing.

I've never been one to outright support vigilante justice on account of believing that everyone ought to face the same trials and go through the same systems to ensure justice.

I'm not an idiot, though, and I realize a system where our rich are held accountable to the same degree as our poor is incredibly unrealistic/borderline impossible.

"When peace is impossible, violence is inevitable." Paraphrasing, but given the system we find ourselves in, this was just a matter of time.
