I'm pretty sure a newborn lion cub shouldn't be able to open their eyes. Simba would have looked less confused and more done with the whole thing in real life.

That shouldn't matter to the open source encrypted chat apps because their code can be easily be independently audited. Just another reason to ONLY use fully open source software when dealing with anything cryptography related.

A lot of subreddits are banning/proposing to ban X links in response to Führer Elon's wonderful gesture of love and tolerance. Should this instance follow suit?

Also, Instagram/Threads/Meta links. Same question.

 

If I pair my Android phone and my laptop, I can share files over Bluetooth from the phone to the laptop. I've started finding this a really convenient method for me to send files to a Linux laptop without needing to install a separate app on either the phone or my laptop. Especially when I'm away from my home network (I use SFTP at home).

How secure is this? Is there encryption by default and could someone else nearby with a receiver potentially decode the file you're sending?
