People anthropomorphize dogs too much. If anyone has seen a working dog do their job as a puppy with 0 training they might reconsider the dogs that were bred to fight.

My dog was also attacked by a pitbull at a dog park. My dog would have died if the pitbull bit just a little bit further in, its jaws were clamped onto my dogs neck skin. It took two full grown men and me gouging its eyes for about 2 minutes before it would release. My dog's transgression to provoke the other dog? Smelling its butt one time.

I run a whole ghost server. Not on this account, but it's a hobby one without too much news and I don't want to just post my own stuff all the time.

Re: DCU, THE Suicide Squad is quite enjoyable. The series Peacemaker that is a spin-off of it is also good. THE Batman is good, and the Penguin series is good.

But ya, they have some huge stinkers. I basically just assume a DCU product is going to be garbage. I can't believe they still let Zack Snyder make movies.

Most people won't talk politics unless they know the other person's opinions already. I've had discussions about every day with my friends and wife, but there is no way I'm going to get into a discussion with my parents or maga coworker. I don't have the energy to debunk every stupid thing they say when they won't change their mind.

CISA actually monitored Internet traffic and would contact government entities (local, schools, universities, etc) when they were being attacked. I went to a talk once where they said they usually had response times in minutes, and it would take longer to figure out who they needed to alert and convince them that it was real. Now that CISA is gutted I would expect more and worse breaches in the future.

I don't think they've successfully sued anyone for that. The few cases I saw last time I looked people were intentionally germinating or saving/selling seeds.

Birds dying to HPAI are very easy to catch too, so even the Garfield's out there can be exposed. I had a red tailed hawk crash out in my backyard and it was dead 24 hours later. I put it into a box (after it crashed and didn't move for 20 mins) but no rehab would take it, because there is nothing that can be done to help them.
