If you live in America near a harbour freight they are a great place to start for basic tools that you might not need all the time. For hanging pictures I'd also recommend a 12-16' measuring tape, a 6" torpedo level, and a pencil for marking where to put holes.

I feel like the crisping sleeves or trays that come with them just end up steaming the bread instead.
I hate seeing this kind of bot on bot crime
It's going to be down to the gauge of the wire and if it's rated for hard usage. There would be no difference if the 4m cable was the same gauge and insulation type as two 2m cables connected by cord and plug. You couldn't say how dangerous it is specifically without calculating the load, wire ampacity, ambient temperature, insulation type, distance, and on and on so it's general advice to prevent fires from overheating wires.
Isn't that just a 3.8Kw inverter though? You can input up to like 150% or so I think but you're only ever producing a max of 3.8.
Presliced cheese is typically more expensive than block. Alfredo is cheap to make from scratch. The instant Mac that comes in the microwavable bowls are like 2.5x the price per ounce of the ones that are just packets.
