No, in fact it is mainly produced in southwest and a bit in southeast, if I recall well it was imported decades ago (in Germany too)

De-Google-Ify campaign by Framasoft launched in 2014 (non profit association behind the creation of peertube).

They are proposing alternatives to replace any major online tools.

To avoid the creation of a new centralised instance: Their CHATON (kitten) initiative, a collective to regroup local small hosters and promote their creation, follows several principles (only Foss tools, no tracking , no data transfer...)

Talking about apps I would recommend MosaLingua (digiSchool), it helps me for English and Spanish.

It's mainly design to learn vocabulary (spaced repetition), the app is free, only class/courses may required a subscription.

Answering your initial question you can select the "native" language you want, but I'm afraid you won't find your mother tongue.
