Should have used the official EU Petition portal (https://www.europarl.europa.eu/petitions/) instead of some US website i rather not share my data with.

pretty disappointing for a party that has the EU as its main topic.

ffs. maybe time the lemmy community / mods implements a kind of blacklist for shit like this. 1 or 2 strikes and perma-ban of links to it.

The article is a mess that doesn't know what it wants and repeats itself multiple times. Almost reads like AI wrote this.

Aren't Mastodon instances maintained by volunteers in their spare time? I can't imagine how they manage to continue moderating it once there are ten thousand or millions of users on it. At least the moderators on Twitter were paid. It was their job. I think people massively underestimate how much work this is.

Because they are surprisingly comfortable, I actually wear them all the time in the house.

Wouldn't that mean that the borders to the USA would be closed or more strictly controlled? As far i know, US Citizens need a visa to enter the EU.

I fucking love living in the EU.

It is running natively. In comparison to, for example, emulators that emulate old gaming consoles completely, Termux emulates only an input device, so basically a keyboard and a display, but the actual applications are Linux and run on Androids Linux Kernel natively. There is no emulation or virtualization happening.

I wish Richard Stallmann all the best and many many more years to come.

His reveal starts at timestamp 02:00.

I wanted to link the original video from https://audio-video.gnu.org/video/gnu40/rms-gnu40.webm, but the server seems overloaded. I try to download it and host it on Peertube when i get the chance. For now i have to link a random source on Youtube unfortunately. (did not link to piped because that breaks the thumbnail..)
