Ah interesting, sounds like a good model if you can find a good childcare. I think the comic refers to raising kids on your own without extra help. So it makes sense that there are fastly different experiences.

Its nice that you enjoy bein a dad. Do you and your other partner do equal parenting? Only One day in the work week with the kid sounds a bit odd. Maybe I am getting it wrong.

Glad that you feel happy. How do you know that this version of you is more happy than a version of you with kids?

First I wanted to fight your comment on German trains, but relative to the US you might see it that way. Let's settle on there are trains. And they can in fact drive between cities.

Huh. Interessante Beobachtung.

I think you can use your vote trying to prevent the pest, since fighting collera is easier. If you think there is no difference what so ever between having a right wing government (democrats) versus an authoritarian (republicans) I would argue that both parties dont care about average people, but with the right wing government in place you have It a bit easier fighting your battles in direct action etc. You bring positive change via Direct action and community building, with your vote you can influence the circumstances a little bit and how hard the fight will be. But There will be a fight no matter who is in charge. But do you want to play this on hard or nightmare mode?

You are absolutely right! And there is so much more we should stop doing:

  • We protested for more than 150+ years and see where we are now!
  • The world did strikes and for over a century and what did it bring us? A dictatorship!
  • We opened up communities and grassroot movements, and the only thing they done for us: Donald Trump! We need to stop all of this RIGHT NOW.

No, "we" dont deserve this. Don't confuse people with the systems they are trapped in.

90% of the offenders belong to Google & Co. So maybe its time to ditch big tech and choose better alternatives / go open source.

This magazine is full of utopian short stories, art and poems.

Hey punks! I would appreciate some creative input from you.

I am developing a small solarpunk workshop right now with the goal to get people to imagine a solarpunk future for their local region (a city in germany, but could be anywhere). My idea is to give a quick overview about solarpunk principles and then give them some materials to get creative with.

Now to my questions for you:

  • What resources could I use to spark the solarpunk mindset in the participants?
  • What materials could be used for the people to sketch their ideas with? (I tought about local city map, pen and paper for small stories, poems, drawings and sketches).
  • What would you wish should be included in the presentation of the solarpunk genre/movement?

Thanks a ton for your thoughts!
