What about HiFi though? The Fi comes from fidelity, yet it's pronounced like the fi in finite.

You can run Affinity on Linux through a custom wine build. https://github.com/seapear/AffinityOnLinux

Maybe it's the decade of the Linux desktop?

Same. Changed my wallpaper to just the color black for that reason.

Honestly can't imagine any chinese manufacturer partnering with a free and open Android OS. Even though it would be cool, since their phones usually have decent hardware

And here the current one. I love how they changed this to be more friendly for bikes and busses

Lost Ark EAC apparently got enabled for Linux one or two weeks ago and alot of people are able to play according to protondb. But a few seconds after I enter character select I get a message saying that EAC is offline. I've tried proton-em, -ge and experimental but it's the same for all.

I've had the same problem with Armored Core 6 (also EAC), where the multiplayer was working out of the box for others except me.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm missing here? If not, does anyone know other places I could ask for support?

Edit: ugh... If anyone comes across this, I had previously disabled EAC via an entry in the hosts file which is required to run Star Citizen...

Would it be possible to display thumbnails in full quality? I would like to see images in their best quality without having to tap on them

For the past few weeks, the download speed on steam via USB-Tethering on my Linux distro (Arch, btw) has been steadily going, barely reaching 2 MB/s right now. I thought it might be the ISP slowing Steam specifically down, since every other download worked at the expected speed (~15-30 MB/s).
Just because I was curious (and wanted to exclude Linux as the issue), I booted into my Windows and started a Steam download, which surprisingly reached 30 MB/s.

When using home wifi, every download has the (approximately) same speed, only with USB-Tethering and only on Linux is Steam much slower than anything else.

I'm at a loss here. No idea what the issue could be.

Update while writing this: I noticed my Wifi was still connected while USB-Tethering was active, disconnected and now Steam downloads with ~10 MB/s. Still slower than Windows but at least some progress and hopefully insight into what could be causing this.

I recently noticed that Firefox for me has pretty high battery usage, more than twice of what Connect (Lemmy) has at ~75% the screen time.
Could this be because of extensions? I'm using Dark Reader and uBlock Origin
