We’re both FtM and we’re soooo cool!!! He actually asked me out and I said yes, making sure it was okay with my girlfriend first!

I will be patient with this one queer teen I knew even if they bullied me. She might not know better but she thinks she's one of the "good lesbians". And that LGBTQ+ people are evil with an "agenda". I don't talk to her anymore because she blocked me and thinks that Latinos are evil and that they're all illegal. What a shame, her grandma is actually Korean and came to the U.S.

But yeah, I hope she changes her ways.

Don't delete it! I love hearing others' perspectives!

Thank you so much! :D

Thank you so much! I actually knew a queer MAGA person who was very "I'm one of the good lesbians" and also anti-hormones for anyone, even adults.

I think so. I feel like if they have queer friends, a cishet MAGA person MIIIGHT change their stance, but they also might be very discriminatory. Since I, however, dealt with these thoughts and had my first crush on a girl around that time, I started acknowledging it and talking to more queer people and changed my stance. I also became friends with a boy whose parents came to the U.S. undocumented, so when I found out how hurt he was by my opinion, I began researching what they do to immigrants.

I was a girl then, now genderfluid transmasc :)

I grew up around older adults for most of my life, in a very "patriotic" community. In fact, my mom used to be centrist and my dad, right-of-center.

I was a cisgender heterosexual girl. Before I myself came out as pan, I really had the mindset of "LGBTQ+ people don't deserve representation". The thing is, I didn't really care what people did, but I didn't think it had to be announced everywhere. I didn't think representation was necessary, and I was kind of ignorant to the injustice LGBTQ+ people face. I thought "Oh, they already have rights, gay marriage has already been legalized, why do they care so much?"

I doubted climate change.

Keep in mind that my grandparents are part-Italian. My grandpa was half-Italian and came from Northern Italy, so I thought just because my grandpa came here legally, all immigrants could afford to do that.

Well, after a while, I started to become friends with other queer and trans people, and it opened my eyes to a new way of thinking. I no longer supported Trump. I started respecting other people more and later found my identity along the way as a genderfluid, left-leaning transmasc person.

I changed quite early in life, thankfully. I changed at age 13, which is better than being like 73, but at least it's a change either way.

I thought being patriotic didn't mean to make America actually better for people, but to just defend everything it did and everything Trump did. I even wore MAGA merch, and I realize how stupid that was now, LMAO.

This was... mmm, 3-ish years ago as I now have graduated high school. I know, it was terrible :,)

Che cazzate, no?

I don't even know why she did this, maybe she really did misinterpret or maybe she made this up for whatever reason. I have dealt with some really interesting teachers in middle school and in sophomore year.

This teacher either left or got fired, but the bell rang. I (skipped kindergarten, was 14 years old) was talking about watching a movie with my friend.

All of a sudden, the teacher told me to come see her before we walked to the buses.

She said she heard me say that I was going to "talk to my 19-year-old boyfriend Russell" and that she was worried about me.

She then said she looked through my phone, as I left my backpack in the special education room, and she said she saw a contact named "Russell" (I do not have a contact named that).

She then called my parents and my aunt and uncle found out because my dad told them.

My aunt never really liked me, but she wouldn't stop talking about how the teacher never lies and that I probably do have a 19-year-old boyfriend.

I never spoke to any 19-year-olds named Russell, or any 19-year-olds at that, or any Russells, let alone date any.

I also had just come from Gym class one day, so I once said “Estoy caliente” instead of “Tengo calor”. The Spanish speakers taking it for extra credit laughed at me…

In my senior year, before I came out as trans, I took Spanish class. I was embarrassed, so I said “Estoy embarazada” which means “I’m pregnant”, NOT “I’m embarrassed”.

Genderfluid trans guy here, I see a lot of my kid self in this. As a kid, I didn’t feel a specific gender or have the words to express that, but I had feelings. I’ve been told “you’re a girl and/so you must do XYZ” but some days, I wanted to be seen as a boy too. I wanted to wear baggy men’s clothes and cut my hair. Some days, I don’t feel like either gender. After all, I’m just me. And you’re just you.

Also, I’d agree with another commenter I saw that cis people don’t usually question being cis. I won’t label you, though, that’s for you to decide but I’d say you do fit under the trans umbrella

What Fediverse software would I like if I previously was a fan of TikTok and Facebook? Friendica perhaps? What else?

My friend and I vividly remember a scene with Gomez/Gomez and Morticia waiting for Fester to wake up and staring over him while he sleeps. Gomez monologues to himself. Does this happen in the movie, Addams Family fans? Or did our brains make this up?

"Dere types" are like tsundere, yandere, etc.

Catherine - Has a cat theme but isn't literally a cat. She is treated like a cat and a tool by the antagonists that traumatized her. At first, she acts sweet and kind with a very disturbed, traumatized interior and acts distrustful to Belle (who has a black cat motif) but later warms up to Belle.

Belle - Belle's exterior is like a black cat -- shy and aloof. She, too, acts cautious and distrustful to Catherine, but ends up dating her.

Dominique - Dominique, at first, seems like a friendly and shy girl. She is very patient and kind, and appears as “one of the good ones” to Catherine after Natasha’s mistreatment of her. However, Dominique is actually best friends with Natasha, and is very violent. She screams at Catherine, insults her, and says she just wants Catherine to “shut up and die”.

Natasha - Natasha is one of the “owners” of Catherine, who she decides to treat as a “pet” because she reminds her of a cat (hence the name CATherine). Natasha and her friends invite Catherine into the friend group and they all live together, but Catherine is treated badly there and Natasha makes a plan to kill Catherine. She is very fake and manipulative, and at first is very sweet, ladylike, and kind, before revealing it to be a facade.

Nora - Nora has a bear theme. At first, like a bear, she is rather violent and plans to kill her love interest. However, she begins to show a dere side after warming up to her and no longer wants to violently attack her.
