I run an uncensored version on my PC since weeks, there are multiple ones on HuggingFace.

At that time Italians were not widely considered white and it was acceptable to see them as prime suspects of crimes against corporate property and terrorism. Also, everyone expected the trial and subsequent execution to go down smoothly.

As an Italian, I would love all the people who think Italians are white to watch "Sacco e Vanzetti".

yes, it is just a change to the policy of the methods of identification publishers and advertisers can use that involve Google products, so it applies everywhere regardless.

Very nice episode about this came out lately on the 99% Invisible podcast. Here's the link: https://99percentinvisible.org/episode/615-your-own-personal-jesus/

I would choose France.

Good choice.

I was studying biology, and I would sell my soul for a passing mark on my exam.

They are heavy in both really. In Amsterdam I had my first quadruppel though and now my threshold for heavy in taste is much higher.

That is called a nickname, it has nothing to do with my real name. I am originally from Rome.

Beer is good only in Belgium.

I am mentally preparing to be called an idiot and/or causing a shitstorm, but I really want to get the answer.

I really want to completely get out of all other social media platforms and to become more involved in the Fediverse, but there is one thing that still bugs me about the underlying concept or at least the frontend behavior.

Let's say I get to discover a very interesting account. Why is it that I cannot just click on the "Following" stat and see what other accounts that person or organization is itself interested in and then just click on follow from there? Every time I have to open a browser, and I only get to look at them since I don't have an account on that instance. And the same thing with followers of course.

I completely understand the interest to remain federated, but the federation being reflected in this kind of UX is, IMHO, a terrible hindrance to growth, or, in the most optimistic scenario, cause a slow migration to a single server.

I would be ok with keeping the power for servers to completely obscure even all the rest of the Fediverse if they want, but if you are showing me a bit of information and allowing me to click on it, you shouldn't then punish me for being interested.

I have no idea whether this is due to ActivityPub, to the single servers (I am on Mastodon.uno btw) or to the clients, but it's, as of now, the only thing I can think of still keeping me from letting myself go and truly join the Fediverse.

I bought these antennas to connect with my wifi card, an Intel Killer AX1690i.

Here you can see a picture of the antenna connector and the Wi-Fi card. I paid special attention in making sure the description on the antenna stated it was compatible with Intel M.2 cards.

I am having a surprisingly tough time connecting them, currently to no avail, so I would like to know if I am doing anything wrong, if I was sent the right product, if you have any tips etc.

I need to add Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity to my PC which is built on an ASROCK Phantom Gaming D5 mobo. Before buying I checked on this resource from ASROCK website and the adapter is meant to be fully compatible and a specification of a 2T2R antenna is matching it (which I until now assumed would be an internal feature.

I installed the adapter and the latest drivers and the device is recognized as both a Bluetooth device and a Wi-Fi adapter, but:

  • Wi-Fi, although technically working (on 802.11ac) is extremely sluggish, de facto unusable.
  • Bluetooth is not recognizing any devices when in discovery.

The Motherboard Manual (page 11) states that there are 3 x Antenna Mounting Points on the Rear panel, which I think I have identified as 3 holes to be punched out from the panel, but then I would not know how to proceed.

Would the installation of an external set of antennas likely solve the problem? If so, how do I choose one and how do I install it?

The design we all know and love is everywhere, well embedded in the visuals and in the story.

I have just installed my new Intel Killer Wi-fi 6E ax 1690i on my ASRock Phantom Gaming 4/D5 and, while the wifi works wonderfully, I cannot detect any Bluetooth device, even after updating to the latest intel Bluetooth driver. I am on Windows 11 and am testing trying to connect my Jabra Elite 3, but anyway my phone detects a plethora of devices from my neighbors.

Is this a known issue and does anyone have any tips on what to try to solve it?

Thanks in advance.
