Maybe "productive" means "occupying the space someone pays rent for".

Cool, thanks. TRMNL looks good, with the only thing I dislike is that the ready made kits ship from the US (I'm in the EU). I see that there are EU resellers stocking DIY kits, so I might have a go at those.
I don't really like the idea - I don't have an old one to use for that, but even if I had, I wouldn't leave it plugged in 24/7 with an aging battery inside of it. I'm looking for something that's either meant to be plugged in constantly or something that can last a few weeks on a single charge.
Can anyone recommend a similar type of device that's not ad-supported? I don't care about voice, but would like to have a desk clock with a synced calendar.
I'm also in the market for one. Can't give you a recommendation from experience, but from what I read some smart TVs can be booted up and operated in "dumb" mode, which I think would be a good compromise - you might wanna look into that, because dedicated dumb TVs seem to be next to non-existent.
If they give you a "no ads for me at all, thanks" option, it'd be fine, but I highly doubt that this would happen.
Depends on where you are and depends on organisation. If it's a small venue and a DIY type of thing, chances are that the merch money and at least part of the entrance is going directly to the band (as opposed to the 1% kickback they'd get for streaming).
Go to concerts, buy physical.
Wow, that's cursed.
It's somewhat amazing to be able to pull this off - and also speaks of the layers and layers of management in modern corporations.
Did the c-level folks find out eventually?
Imagine breaking someone's scraper with that change.
A straightabout.
