At the risk of getting downvoted I gotta say there is some excellent weird stuff on that same level that was created with the help of AI tools. There are some artists out there with actual talent and creativity using genAI.
It's a damn shame that it's drowned out by the very real and very overwhelming amount of slop. I keep hoping the creeps that flood the internet with that crap get bored of it so it's easier for actually creative stuff to rise to the top.

The Democrats messaging, as always, has been abysmal on this. They should have been hitting the airwaves since the last vote preparing public for this to happen and - rightly - putting the responsibility on the GOP who owns both sides of congress and the presidency.
Yeah if you never have to be the one to open it up again and pull stuff apart again then sure. But I'm sure as hell not going to cut and redo zip ties the 4-5 times a year I'm in there adding or changing out something.

Just sort of related aside - I was listening to my favorite online radio station and the DJ was introducing a song - he realized he was about to say it was a relatively new release and then chuckled a bit as it dawned on him that it was almost 25 years old.
