I used to see people do this here and there but they got bored after a few months because nobody watched the content. If you could get a bot to do this, I could see this being a longer term project, but if it gets big enough some folks might object as well.

This should be less surprising than it seems on face value, as James Bond is set to hit the public domain so both parties might just be in a rush to get new Bond movies in development at this point

It's easy to say "go woke, go broke" until you realize that you don't make any of your own merchandise so you can't fix the problem once you finally decide to right the ship
This is big! Reading between the lines, it seems that at the very least:

Marvel/Disney is actively planning ways to use the Defenders characters in the MCU in the future

The primary barrier to using Defenders characters will be budget constraints and actor availability
It would be interesting to see if The Defenders comes back, any of the existing shows get spiritual successors, or if movies with these characters come out in the future. It'd be pretty cool if we end up seeing, for example, the Defenders version of Danny Rand team up with Shang Chi in the sequel that most definitely is going to happen (per pinkie promises)
Maybe they wanted to give the Marketing department a raise
How come they fired the whole team and then started posting game promos on YouTube right afterwards lol

I rewatched this with my dad a few months ago (he has the Blu-Ray) and was stunned by how much I liked it. I'll certainly be getting the 4K of this at some point.
